San Lorenzo in Banale: sports, nature and history

Located near the Comano Spa, San Lorenzo in Banale is the ideal destination for a mountain holiday in Italy between nature, sports and culture: come to discover one of the most beautiful villages in Italy!

  • The House in the Park "Once upon a time…”: an eighteenth-century building restored as an ancient typical peasant home in order to discover the traditions of the past.
    Summer opening: from 9:30 to 12:30 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (closed on Sunday and Tuesday afternoon and on Thursday morning)
  • The Church of San Rocco and San Sebastiano: a sixteenth-century church with important frescoes by Baschenis, itinerant painters of that century.
  • Mazoleti House, Martinoni House and Moscati House: marvelous examples of the rural architecture in the valley.
  • romeghin PSports Centre: indoor swimming pool, soccer fields, volleyball and basketball, bowling, beach volley, natural climbing walls and gym trail facilities.

San Lorenzo in Banale is the gateway to the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, through its splendid Ambiez Valley, crossed by amazing trails and footpaths of varying difficulty leading to the discovery of spectacular natural amphitheatres.

In San Lorenzo in Banale you can taste the “ciuìga”, a delicious sausage cooked with local white turnips which received the prestigious “Slow Food” award and that is celebrated from the 4th to the 6th of November with a village festival.
