Around the Comano Spa you can visit some archaeological sites of great natural and historical interest in an unspoiled mountain valley rich in history:
- Inside the biotope of Fiavè you can see the remains of lake pile-dwelling settlements dating back to 2300 to 1200 BC. The site is quite impressive and important enough to be one of the most interesting findings of the prehistory of Europe: you can see it along the walk to the archaeological site.
- Above Lundo, the Mount San Martino still preserves the ruins of a lost fortress. More than one thousand years after its construction, archaeologists are now slowly bringing to light a complex of buildings, the church and half a mile of walls dating back to the barbaric age.
Important signs of the past are waiting for you during your cultural holidays at the Comano Spa in Trentino!
